Attendance

Important things to keep in mind for the remainder of the school year.

ATTENDANCE

Regular attendance is essential. Emergencies arise: otherwise students need to be in school every day. Frequent absences may lead to poor academic work, lack of social development and possible academic failure. No single factor may interfere with a student's progress more quickly than frequent tardiness or absences. Please notify the school before 9:00 A.M. at (928) 672-3500, ext. 528, 529 or 530 if your child is ill or must be absent from school.

Tardiness is not accepted. A student is considered tardy if he/she is not in his/her seat when class starts at 8:00 A.M.

According to state law, it is the obligation of every parent to insure that every child under his/her care and supervision receives adequate education and training and, if of compulsory attendance age, attends school.

See Bell Schedule
